Dr. Vincente Calderon, OD

Eye health is an important act of self-care, but many people neglect their vision until something goes wrong. Leading optometrist Vincente Calderón, OD, and the team at FrameBar.co in Oceanside, New York, want to change that.

Dr. Calderón, one of only a handful of native Latino optometrists practicing in New York, is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish as well as English. He attended the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and is board-certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Dr. Calderón believes in using alternative care methods alongside more conventional standards of care. Always keen to stay abreast of the latest news within the industry, he’s an active member of the American Optometric Association. He’s passionate about exploring new technologies and taking a forward-thinking, integrative approach to patient care. He and his team are proud early adopters of the latest techniques in optometric treatments, including being one of the first providers in New York to use advanced technology to treat ocular rosacea and dry eyes.

Patients come to FrameBar.co from all over Nassau County and surrounding areas seeking preventive treatments like myopia control and diabetic eye care, and relief from uncomfortable eye diseases like glaucoma and blepharitis.
